Dubai Business News — There's Yanni in Dubai this weekend, and next in line, Oscar winner A R Rahman is Dubai bound.
On December 9, the Jai Ho singer will enthral fans with his hit compositions in a one-off concert, confirmed organiers Talentbrokers.
Though the venue and ticket details for the event are yet to be finalised, it's touted as Rahman's first concert stop in the UAE post his Slumdog Millionaire success, the film that won him international recognition.
According to reports, Rahman will be hand-picking the artists who will perform alongside him in the concert. After having worked in more than 100 Bollywood films, Rahman recently collaborated with Superheavy, a band that includes Mick Jagger, and Joss Stone. Watch this space for more details.
