Dubai Business News — Etisalat on Wednesday announced the launch of Global Business Plan. The landline promotion, valid for three months, will enable businesses to make international calls to worldwide destinations at an attractive rate of only Dh1 per minute on Business landlines, ISDN PRI and ISDN BRI Lines.
Currenltly, for example, calls made from landlines or mobile phones to India attract a peak rate of Dh2.40 a minute and an off-peak rate of Dh1.89 a minute. Similarly, a peak rate Dh2.12 and an off-peak rate of Dh1.37 a minute is charged on calls to the US. Both countries are included in the new promotion.
Businesses can choose from two promotion options depending on their international call usage and frequency. Businesses can opt for either with a monthly rental of Dh20 per line/channel or pay a call set-up fee of Dh1 per call, to enjoy the best international calling rates of Dh1 per minute (all day) to 20 countries.
Additionally, international calls made to countries outside the 20 international destination list will be charged at 24x7 off-peak rates. Customers can subscribe to this promotion by dialing 8005800, or by visiting any Etisalat business center.
Commenting on the promotion, Abdulla Ebrahim Al Ahmed, Senior Vice-President, Business Solutions at Etisalat said: “The reduced rates affirm Etisalat's commitment to offer the best possible service at the most affordable cost to our business customers. Being in a global environment, the international direct calls are a key area for businesses. Through various options, this promotion also offers additional flexibility and choice to our customers, to opt for the plan most suited to their requirements. This limited period offer will be of great value to all business landline subscribers who will now be able to connect with their customers, clients and partners worldwide."
The 20 Countries
The 20 countries included in the plan are India, Pakistan, Egypt, Bangladesh, Philippines, United Kingdom, Syria, Oman, Lebanon, Jordan, USA, Sudan, Sri Lanka, Yemen, Germany, France, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar and Kuwait.
