Dubai Business News — A recent report from Gulfnews.com reveals that former Real Madrid and Barcelona senior professional footballers will be competing in the Dubai International Indoor Football Championships at Dubai World Trade Centre from August 9-12.
The Masters sides of both Spanish clubs will join four local UAE teams for the six club five-a-side round-robin four-day tournament. Matches on specially laid turf in the Shaikh Rashid Hall of Dubai Sports World — a two-month indoor sports festival with 25,000 square metres of amenities — will start at 9pm and finish at around midnight.
Initial team-sheets are yet to be reconfirmed, but details are expected in the coming days.
