Dubai Business News — Hot on the heels of the news that LMFAO could be heading for Dubai to headline a beach festival next month, it looks like Pete Wentz is following suit. The American singer of Fall Out Boy fame tweeted Thursday morning confirming he is “stoked” to be coming to the UAE to play his debut show.
“Off to the Middle East to play a show for the first time in September. Stoked,” he tweeted.
Since the announcement of Fall Out Boy’s indefinite hiatus, Wentz formed the experimental electropop group Black Cards, the guys who we guess will be heading for Dubai shores.
He owns a record label, Decaydance Records, which has signed bands such as Panic! at the Disco and Gym Class Heroes.
Industry sources say the festival is taking place on September 30. Watch this space for more details as they emerge.
