Honda recalls over 2000 GCC cars

Dubai Business News  — Honda, the Japanese brand has recalled 2097 cars in the GCC region due to a software glitch. All owners of Honda Accorde Coupe 2008-2010 models will be contacted.

"So far we've had no complaints regarding these models, however we know there is a problem and there might be future problems so we are taking a preventative measures," Arijit Basu, general manager of sales and marketing at Honda Motor Co. Middle East Office.

According to Basu, there has been no impact on sales.

Globally, Honda has to recall 2 million cars.
