Dubai Business News — The stars are booked and confirmed to make Eid in Dubai a holiday to remember.Arabic superstars Wael Kfoury, Shatha Hassoun, Ayman Zebib, Fadel Shaker, Rola Saad, and Fares Karam will all perform at concerts at the Bustan Rotana while Nancy Ajram, Melhem Zein, Sean Paul, Kelly Rowland, T-Pain along with Bollywood stars Shahid Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandez and Malaika Arora Khan will take the stage at Meydan.
The Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment unveiled the names at a press conference held at the Meydan hotel on Tuesday.
This year's live programme is complimented by shopping discounts, activities for children and entertainment from around the world including a concert at Modhesh World featuring ‘Arabs Got Talent' finalist Hala Al Turk and the highly anticipated Turkish dance troupe's latest show, Fire of Anatolia, at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Eid carnivals and firework displays will be a daily feature at shopping malls and stores across the city until September 10. Kfoury, Hassoun and Zebib perform at the Bustan Rotana on September 1 while Shaker, Saad and Karam take the stage the following day.
Other international artsists perform at Meydan for Shoppiesta, the first ever consumer lifestyle fair in the region, from August 31-September 4.
Five concerts will take place in total also featuring leading Filipino pop band South Border and girl band Mocha Girls, legendary Iranian singer Googoosh and famed Indian singers Hariharan and Shankar Mahadevan.
A hallmark of every Eid in Dubai, spectacular daily fireworks display will light up the sky over Al Seef Street and Dubai Creek Park from 9pm.
Tickets, from Dh 100, for Shoppiesta go on sale on Wednesday. Tickets for the Bustan Rotana shows are priced Dh 600, Dh700, Dh900 and Dh1,300.
Fire of Anatolia takes place daily at 9pm from August 31-September 2 and tickets are priced Dh750, Dh500, Dh350, Dh200 and Dh150.
