Dubai Business News — Doner Restaurant has achieved a new Guinness World Record for the world's largest doner, Tarika Vara, official Guinness World Records adjudicator, announced.
The doner sandwich consists of grilled lamb with spices cooked the Turkish way. The doner weighed 468kg with a height of 295cm and a width of 60cm. The record-breaking doner was distributed among charity organisations in Dubai feeding more than 3,000 people.
The event took place at the restaurant on Jumeirah 3 beach road. The representative from Guinness World Records measured the meat and the height of its cooking machine in front of the crowd before announcing the new record for the emirate of Dubai in the world's most famous book of records.
